One long summer has passed since Acathla’s vortex was closed and Buffy made her famous disappearance. For the last couple of months, the Scooby Gang has attempted to keep the vampire population down while Giles and Buffy’s mother continue the search for the girl. To no avail, the summer passed without contact. As summer rolls to a close and the class of 1999 prepares for senior year, the chosen one makes her return.
In a place where darkness is always stirring, no one can be prepared for what is brewing just over the horizon. Evil has threatened to swallow them whole once again-- Only this time, the signs aren’t clear. Will anyone ever notice before it’s too late? Will more petty evil continue to divert attention? There is only one way to find out. But, are you sure you want to hear the answer?

Set in season 3, the role play begins at the very end of summer/beginning of the school year. The plot is slightly AU, and nothing that happened in the show after the start of season 3 is set in stone. All canon characters are welcome, as long as you have a reason for them to be there. In addition to our main plot, we welcome all character plots and ideas that you may have.
Original characters are definitely welcome. But, we would like to get the canon character spots filled.
