Born to Thomas and Olivia Jenner in Savannah, Georgia, Sam was brought up to be a "Southern gentlemen": holding doors open, paying for dinner, being polite and things of that nature. However, when he was fifteen, Sam's mother developed a drug addiction to cocaine and heroine. Thomas decided it would be best to move Sam and himself away from Olivia and back to his hometown of [whatever city and country this takes place in].
