Nate had nothing else to do on Saturday night so he got dressed into blue jeans, orange top, blue jacket and he pulled out some red trainers. Nate walked over to his drawers as he picked up his wallet to see how much was in there and didn't see much and his keys. Nate made his way to the bank as he withdrew thirty pounds as he knew it was buy one get one free night since he wasn't working in Life tonight he wanted to enjoy himself. Nate made his way to Life as he walked straight in as there was no cue at the moment. Nate walked to the bar "I will have two Guinness's" Nate said handing the money to the bartender.

Larissa grabbed the remote to her stereo, flipping the music off. She had been previously doing nothing except for sitting on her bed and listening to music, which gets old when you've heard the same song on repeat for half an hour. Standing up, she grabbed a sweatshirt from the back of her closet, before leaving her room. Without telling her father or brother where she was going, she was already in town. She wouldn't have been able to tell them where she was going anyway, because she wasn't quite sure herself. It was something she did often, walking with no where to go.
Spotting a sign, that said "Life", Larissa rolled her eyes. Some of her old friends from when she was in high school would talk about this place for hours on end. She never really saw what was so special about it, and now that she left school it seemed even less spectacular. Following one of her 'why not?' moods, she slowly stepped through the door. Any sort of club was not high on Larissa's list of places she wanted to go. Weaving through the crowd, to get to the front, Larissa started thinking of the places she would rather be. Like Africa, or Austria, hell, she would even go to Paris, which was another place she never quite understood the appeal of.

Nate turned around as he picked up his Guinness and looked at the people in the club. Nate saw Larissa weaving through the crowed "She must be new here as I don't recognize her" Nate thought as he took a sip of his drink. Nate was thinking about what had happened between him and Isabella in the park the other day and still he couldn't get her out of his mind "What should I do with myself" Nate said sighing.

Larissa walked up to the bar, and sat down. "Um, I'll just have water, thanks." Not that she was sure the water in this place was trustworthy. If she was still in contact with her old friends, she was sure that they would have told her she wasn't enjoying herself because of her inability to loosen up and relax. Though this wasn't true, Larissa knew how to fully relax, she just couldn't with people around. She had been called uptight more than she could count. Absentmindedly, she pulled out a small steno pad she kept in her pocket. Why she carried it around was a mystery to her, because she hardly ever wrote in it. Flipping through it, only a few pages were written in, covered by sad attempts at poems or her doodling her name. For some reason, she loved to write it in cursive. Adding another initial to the collection, she waited for her water to come.

Nate picked up his two Guinness's and walked over to Larissa as he heard her ordering water "I take it is your first time in here then as all of the interlard order alcohol unless it is a under eighteens night. The name is Grey, Nate Grey" Nate said putting his two Guinness's down and held out his hand to Larissa as he was being himself since h was being a gentleman during the night.

Larissa blinked, before automatically shaking his hand. It was something that was inbreed into her, thanks to her father. First you were polite; then you question someone's motives. "Oh, yes I am new but only because of choice. Just felt like....reliving the past, I suppose." Was that the reason she had come in here? It was true that she missed her old school and friends, but she hoped that she wasn't that far gone....
"My name is Larissa. I take it you've been here before? She wasn't comfortable giving her last name out to strangers, and so she just left it out. Sticking with the polite routine, she refrained from making a James Bond comment about how he introduced himself. Her question hadn't really been a question either, she was pretty darn sure that he had been here more than a few times before. Who knows though, maybe her assumption was wrong. Though, to be fair to herself, they weren't all that often. Only when she mistook certain signs. It was a game she did really, assuming things about people. Lord help you if you were stuck in a waiting room with Larissa, she would have a fake life story for you in moments.

"Well, I don't come here very often. I just work here most nights and I had nothing to do tonight and it is buy one get one free tonight so you can get your monies worth here" Nate said smiling at her as he finished his first drink "Why don't I buy you a few drinks if you want me to Larissa" Nate said as he did want to know Larissa more and to become friends and hopefully in time become more than friends.

"No thanks. I appreciate the gesture really, but I don't drink." She held up her glass of water, perfectly content with it. She stuffed her notebook in her pocket, spinning to face everyone else. She felt childish here, even though there were probably people here younger than her, it didn't mean she was as mature. Larissa had always been the slowest of her friends to grow up. Still, that didn't mean the others weren't fun to watch. It was another obvious assumption that more of a few of them were drunk. "My main reason is that it makes you act like that." She nodded towards the people, pulling her feet towards her. She was still the type of person who would prefer something more like chocolate than alcohol. Maybe she was just wimpy like that, or maybe she was smart. The answer could be tossed around a bit.

"If you do not drink alcohol why did you come here tonight unless you have an different motive" Nate said raising an eyebrow at her as he secretly looked at her up and down trying to guess things about her "So how old are you Larissa" Nate asked politely as if she didn't want to answer his questions he wouldn't force her to answer. Nate laughed as he watched the drunks dancing "How about a dance on such a fine night" Nate said holding his hand out as he would like to dance with her sometime as he was starting to develop a crush on her even though it felt like he was back in High School he was happy.

"Hell, I'm going to sound like a loser, not to mention a wackjob for coming in here to begin with. I don't really dance, Or at lease....not well." Nevertheless, as she said this, Larissa stood up. The whole concept of dancing scared her, yet the fact that she was with a stranger instead of someone she was close to somehow made it less daunting. It wouldn't matter if she made a fool of herself, not like she did at prom. Wincing at the memory, Larissa responded to his question. "I'm seventeen. Well, I didn't just turn seventeen or anything, I'll be eighteen in a few months. As for my motives....I have none. Haven't you ever gone somewhere with no reason at all?" It was such a common thing for Larissa to do, she was having trouble believing that it was strange to someone else.

"Don't worry about not dancing well, no one in this club does and you are probably a better dancer than me any way" Nate said taking a sip of his drink as he watched her stand up. Nate stood up when she mentioned her age "You do not look seventeen, no offense but I would say you are about nineteen. I wouldn't be saying that your seventeen to loud as you need to be eighteen to be clubbing. I am nineteen encase you where wondering" Nate said as he slid his hand into hers so he would know when they where going to the dance floor. Nate thought when she asked if he had gone somewhere with no reason at all "Actually I haven't really done that, as I have had a reason for everything that I have done" Nate said staring into her eyes.

"I'm not exactly worried about getting in trouble for my age. Looking around the room, Larissa was able to find a girl to suit her purpose rather quickly. Nodding her head at her, she said "That girl right there looks like she's fourteen, and she probably is. Yet...there she is." Larissa walked towards the dance floor, sort of uncomfortable at holding hands with a stranger. It just felt awkward, always has, probably always would for her. It was just not the type of thing she could do off handedly, with no thought at all. On the dance floor, Larissa dropped Nate's hand like it was on fire, and simply stood there. This had been a stupid idea, not only the dancing, but coming in here to begin with. What had been going through her head, she did not know. Only that now, she severely regretted the temporary brain lapse. Larissa didn't even recognize the song playing.

Nate listened as she said she was worried about getting into trouble for her age then she said about the girl who might be fourteen. "It doesn't matter if other people are in here under age and frankly the bouncer out there at the moment will let almost anyone in" Nate said as Larissa let go of his hand o he stuck both in his pockets as it seemed she didn't want to dace "Something on your mind Larissa" Nate said as he walked back over to his drink and sat down while he took a sip of his drink.

"Just wondering why I came in here to begin with." She nervously stuck her hands in her pockets, fiddling with the steno notepad. Larissa hadn't moved from the floor, and got slightly shoved a few times. "You said I must have a motive, and when I said I didn't, I honestly thought that was true. Now I'm wondering if I do, even if I don't exactly know it. Kinda like my sub-conscious, you know?" Maybe he didn't, and she was just going insane. It wouldn't surprise her, exactly. When things went wrong with her, they went really wrong. There was no slight luck with her, good or bad. At the current point in time, it almost seemed like she was rambling to herself. It was quite possible she was the only one who understood, which didn't help things.

"If you are wondering why you came here, why don't you leave" Nate said seeing that she hadn't moved from the dance floor and was being slightly shoved a few times. "What is the motive you have in your sub-conscious" Nate said as he stood up again and walked over to her "It does seem that there is one thing that I think I know but I do hope you feel the same way" Nate said as he is thinking of revealing his feelings for her but wants to know her feelings for him first.
