the sound of the car door slamming broke the silence of the forest. alice lept playfully onto the sidewalk, camera dangling from her neck, before beginning to walk along one of the marked paths. the sun kissed her face as she leaned towards it, letting it take her body in, and hug it in a blanket of warmth. why did people find the forest so... so... so... frightening? intimidating? for it was one of the most beautiful locations in all of the town! especially when looking for a location to take photographs.
stopping, and looking back at her car, she removed the camera from her neck and snapped a picture. the first of many to document her fantastic adventures on a sunday afternoon. alice grinned to herself as she viewed her previously taken picture, pleased with herself, and reached into the back pocket of her denim skirt before removing an ipod, along with a pair of skull candies, which were dangling on her belt loop, and placing them lovingly on her ears. immediately she began singing to iron maiden's 'run to the hills' at the top of her lungs, while she snapped pictures of nature's beauty.
